Who we are and how to reach us
Pluremi operates the hotel and event spaces at 60 Cremorne Street, Cremorne VIC 3121, Australia. When this policy says "we" or "us", it means Pluremi and the team that runs the property.
If you have a question about your personal information, write to pluremi@hotmail.com or call +61 3 9248 6173. You can also drop a note at the front desk and ask for the duty manager. We try to answer privacy questions within five business days.
This policy covers what happens when you book a room, book a private event, join our mailing list, use our website, or simply walk in and leave a business card at the bar.
What we collect and why
Most of what we hold is the information you gave us to make your stay or event work. We do not buy lists or add contacts from other businesses.
- Booking details: your name, email address, mobile number, dates of stay, room type, rate code and any notes you add about arrivals, allergies or accessibility needs.
- Payment information: cardholder name, card type, last four digits and billing address. Full card numbers are handled by our payment provider and are not stored on our systems.
- Event information: guest counts, menu choices, dietary records, seating plans and the name of the person paying the invoice.
- Website data: pages viewed, browser type, approximate location and the site you came from. This is aggregated and used to keep the site fast and useful.
- In-house records: arrival and departure times, charges to your room, requests made to the front desk and any incident reports.
We use this information to hold your reservation, prepare your room or event space, take payment, meet legal obligations around guest registers, and answer you when you get in touch. If you have opted in, we also send occasional emails about seasonal menus and room offers. Every one of those emails has a working unsubscribe link.
Who we share it with
We share the minimum required to deliver what you asked for.
- Our payment processor receives what it needs to charge a card and handle refunds.
- Our booking engine receives reservation data so that availability stays accurate across channels.
- Housekeeping and maintenance teams see the room number and any service notes, not your payment details.
- Our accountant and auditor may review invoices for tax and compliance purposes.
- Police, health authorities or a court may require information under Australian law. We will hand over only what is legally required and tell you where we are allowed to.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not pass guest lists to marketing partners.
How long we keep it and how we secure it
Reservation and billing records are kept for seven years to satisfy Australian tax requirements. Event files are kept for three years after the function. Marketing contact details stay on file until you unsubscribe, then move to a suppression list so we do not email you again by mistake.
Access to guest data is limited to staff who need it for their job. Our booking system is password protected with two-factor authentication, and laptops that touch guest records are encrypted. Paper registration cards are stored in a locked cabinet at the property and shredded after twelve months.
Your rights and choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask for corrections, or ask us to delete what we are not legally required to keep.
- Email pluremi@hotmail.com with the subject line "Privacy request" and enough detail for us to find your record, such as your booking reference or the dates you stayed.
- We will confirm receipt within two business days and answer within thirty days.
- If you are on our mailing list, every email includes a one-click unsubscribe option.
- If you believe we have handled your information poorly, tell us first. If we cannot resolve it, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
We review this policy each year and whenever we change booking systems or add a new service. The version on this page is the one that applies. If a change affects how we use information you have already given us, we will email guests who have an active booking or an active mailing subscription before the change takes effect.
This policy was last reviewed in February 2025.
